WAM Ras al- Khaimah, 10 May 2012, (WAM)--Lt. General Saif Abdulla Al Sha'far, Undersecretary of Ministry of Interior opened today the activities of Ministry of Interior's (MoI) Village in Ras al-Khaimah.

Hosted by RAK Police under the theme: "Societal Village with Police Spirit", the week long event is held at RAK Exhibition Centre.

Present was Major General Sheikh Taleb bin Saqr Al Qassimi, General Commander of RAK Police.

The village features 30 pavilions of the Police departments and sections.

Major General Sheikh Taleb stressed that the UAE leadership safeguards security of the country, citing that the Ministry of Interior is keen on organising such events to spread the security and social awareness in the community.

Also Present at the event were Major General Khamis Saif bin Suwaif, Director General of the Criminal Security at the Ministry of interior, Brig. Ali Abdullah Alwan, General Commander of Ajman Police and other senior police officers.
