WAM Abu Dhabi, May 07th, 2012 (WAM)--H. H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation and Chairwoman of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood presided over the second meeting of the higher administration of the Family Development Foundation.

She was briefed during the meeting about progress of a number of developmental projects being implemented by the Foundation.

Present were Dr Maitha Al Shamsi, State Minister, Mariam Mohammed Al Rumaithi, Director General of the Foundation, Nora Al Suwaidi, Director of the General Women's Union and other senior officials.

Sheikha Fatima praised the efforts of work team of the Foundation, who persevered to score the regional, Arab and international successes.

For her part, Al Rumaithi welcomed Sheikha Fatima for her periodic follow up of the work progress plans, commending her support to the role of family in the community to ensure it matches the vision of Abu Dhabi government towards achieving sustainable social development.
