WAM Dubai, May 03th, 2012 (WAM) -- UAE Minister of Foreign Trade Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qasimi continued to hold meetings in Dubai with economy and trade officials of various countries.

The meetings at the Dubai World Trade Centre were held on the sidelines of the annual Investment Forum in Dubai, and explored the opportunities of enhanced cooperation with world countries in the spheres of trade, economy and investment.

During these meetings, Sheikha Lubna emphasised that economic globalization must be in the interest of building bridges of cooperation between the economies of the world for the sake of development.

She also stressed that the UAE's strategic vision 2021 takes into account, the dimensions of the regional and international cooperation in steering the UAE economy toward sustainable development.

Among the officials Sheikha Lubna met were, the Undersecretary of Poland's Ministry of Economy, Sri Lankan Minister of Commerce and Industry, Kyrgyzstan's Minister of Economy, President of Russia's National Investment authority and Minister of Tourism of Andhra Pradesh state, India.
