UAE, Malta ink agreement on exchange of ratification documents on combating drug trafficking, organised crime

WAM Riyadh, Apr 30th, 2012 (WAM)--The United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Malta have signed at the Embassy in Riyadh, the minutes of the exchange of ratification of the Convention on cooperation in combating illicit narcotic trafficking, psychotropic substances and organised crime.

UAE Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Mohammed Saeed Al Dhahiri signed on behalf of the UAE, while Maltese Ambassador to the UAE and resident in Saudi Arabia Frank Galia, signed on behalf of his country.

The UAE and Malta had signed the agreement on cooperation in combating illicit trafficking in narcotic and psychotropic substances, and organised crime in December of 2008 .
