Lisbon, 27 April 2012 (WAM) - UAE Foreign Minister H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan met here today his Portuguese counterpart Paulo Portas and discussed with him bilateral relations and ways to enhance them in all fields.

Sheikh Abdullah and Portas signed two agreements for cooperation between the two countries in renewable energy and higher education '&' scientific research.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Abdullah Mohammed Al Hamed, Director of European Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed Mahmoud Al Khawaja, Advisor at the ministry, Saleh Al Suwaidi, Assistant Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs and Saqr Nasser Ahmed Al Raisi, UAE Ambassador to Portugal.
