UAQ crown prince attends Health and Environment Conference

WAM Umm al- Qaiwain, Apr 26th, 2012 (WAM)--H. H. Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, crown prince of Umm al-Qaiwain attended here today the Health and Environment conference organised by Environment Friends Team of UAQ under the theme: "More Awareness for the Better Environment.

Held at the theatre of Cultural Centre, the event was attended Salem Abdul Rahman Al Darmaki, Acting Undersecretary of Health Ministry, Sultan bin Rashid Al Kharji, Assistant Undersecretary and Director of Umm al- Qaiwain Medical Zone, and directors of the departments in UAQ.

Sultan Al Kharji praised in his welcoming speech the continuous care and support of UAQ crown prince to the medical zone's activities, lauding the role of the team in enhancing the healthcare services.

Work papers on the protection of environment were presented at the conference.

Aisha Khalfan Humaid, deputy head of the team explained team's goals on protecting the natural resources and creating a healthy environment for clients by using environment friendly products.

At the end of the conference, the UAQ Medical Zone presented a memento gift to Sheikh Rashid, who in turn honoured the participant agencies and media institutions.
