Emirates Post and Abu Dhabi Customs establish electronic link

WAM Dubai, Apr 26th, 2012 (WAM) -- Emirates Post and the General Administration of Abu Dhabi Customs have established an electronic link to strengthen mutual working relationship and improve the services provided by both parties to the public.

The link is between Abu Dhabi Customs' �Dhabi' system and Emirates Post's Post of Sales (POS) system.

The move is in line with the UAE government vision of promoting partnerships among different organisations and raising customer satisfaction.

Abdullah Al Ashram, CEO of Emirates Post, said, "The electronic link between the General Directorate of Abu Dhabi Customs and Emirates Post will benefit customers of Customs and Emirates Post, as part of a common objective to enhance the spirit of cooperation between the two sides. " Explaining the working of the link, Al Ashram added: "This service will help exchange information between the two sides in a secure environment as well as simplify the procedures between the two administrations through the link between �Dhabi' and POS, besides customers can track a parcel at any point to locate it with accuracy."
