WAM Abu Dhabi, 24 April 2012 (WAM) - Gen. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces received this evening at Al Bateen Palace Ray Mabus, United States Secretary of Navy who is currently on a visit to the UAE.

Sheikh Mohammed welcomed Mabus and his accompanying delegation. He praised the growing ties of friendship between the two countries.

Sheikh Mohammed and Mabus discussed ways to enhance relations and to strengthen relations in defence and military fields.

The meeting also touched on the latest regional development and issues of mutual interest.

Present during the meeting were Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court and Yousif Mana Al Otaiba, UAE Ambassador to the United States.
