WAM Abu Dhabi 24 April 2012 (WAM)--Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research received at his palace here today the participants of the 15th meeting for the Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab States' (GCC) technical education commission.

During the meeting, he exchanged views with the GCC officials on cooperation among the Colleges of Technology and Industry in the GCCs, especially in the areas of technical education and vocational training.

The two sides also discussed the agenda of the meeting, notably, the recommendations of previous meeting, activation of unified technical education strategies to reach a common perspective and students' exchange in some classes during the study period.
