WAM DUBAI: The Dubai Women Police Council extended heartfelt congratulations to HH Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of General Women's Union, and of Family Development Foundation and Chairwoman of Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood (AKA Mother of the Nation) and Sheikha Hind Bint Maktoum Bin Juma'a Al-Maktoum, wife of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairwoman of Dubai Women Development Society on the occasion of Mother's Day.

Dr Mashkan Al-Awar, head of the Council, said the Council responded positively to the initiative launched last January by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum to honor a number of mothers for their excellence.

The Council disseminated a special English and Arabic message of congratulations to mothers on its Facebook page, she added.
