Abu Dhabi, 7 March 2012 (WAM) - The Executive Committee held a meeting here today under the chairmanship of Mohamed Ahmed Al Bowardi, Member of Abu Dhabi Executive Council.

The Committee approved development projects for sector 6 of Abu Dhabi city, commercial buildings in Mohammed bin Zayed city and beautification works on the roads leading to Al Fursan Sport Complex.

The Committee also sanctioned a proposal by the Abu Dhabi Sewerage Services Company (ADSSC) on provision of consultancy services for sewerage works of future developments in Abu Dhabi.

Also approved were projects by Abu Dhabi Water '&' Electricity Authority in different areas and a project to build a residential complex for customs officers at Al Ghuewifat.

The Committee reviewed memoranda about transport navigation systems in Abu Dhabi and designing and construction works at the heritage village of Qasr Al Sarab.

It also discussed a number of topics on the meeting's agenda and took appropriate decisions on them.
