WAM Khartoum, 21st Feb. 2012 (WAM) -- Hassan Ahmed Sulayman El Shihi, UAE Ambassador to Sudan, met with Jafaar El Sadiq Al Marghany, Assistance to the Sudanese president, in his office at the Republic Palace here.

They discussed avenues of joint co- operation between the two countries and ways of boosting it.

The Sudanese official expressed his country's appreciation to the UAE's leadership, government and people for its supportive stances towards his country, praising the good relations between the two countries.

Ambassador El Shihy has confirmed the UAE's firm keenness on strengthening bilateral ties with Sudan.
