|  | Mohammed bin Rashid meets Queen Elizabeth IINov 23, 2009 - 05:58 - WAM London, Nov 23rd, 2009 (WAM)--Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, met here today afternoon Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, of UK and Common Wealth, at her residence at Windsor Castle.
Queen Elizabeth and Sheikh Mohammed exchanged views on bolstering the historic relations between the UAE and Britain, particularly the cultural and humanitarian relations. The talks also covered the dire humanitarian conditions in the conflict and natural disaster zones, which imposed moral and humanitarian obligations on the international community towards the neediest people worldwide.
Queen Elizabeth lauded the humanitarian stance of the UAE, which provides the medical, food and educational assistance to the poorest people worldwide, citing the efforts of the UAE charity organisations in this respect.
