|  | Lubna receives Colombian trade delegationNov 8, 2009 - 05:33 - WAM Abu Dhabi, 8th Nov. 2009 (WAM) -- H.E. Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of Foreign Trade received today a visiting Colombian trade mission led by Colombian Foreign Minister Jaime Bermudez.
The two sides explored avenues of joint cooperation in areas of energy, construction, infrastructure and transport.
Sheikha Lubna said the UAE was ready to develop trade and investment exchange with Colombia and welcomed the Colombian government decision to waive entry visa requirements for UAE citizens as a boost for commercial and investment relations.
The Colombian foreign minister expressed his country's desire to conclude an agreement on avoidance of double taxation and protection of investment.
The Colombian officials and entrepreneurs represent agriculture, food, transport '&' shipping, and steel industry firms.
