|  | Nahyan bin Mubarak receives King of SwedenOct 30, 2009 - 08:47 - Abu Dhabi, Oct 30th, 2009 (WAM)--Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister HE Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, received here yesterday at his palace His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, who is currently visiting the country to take part at the 3rd Festival of Thinkers, which will be hosted by Abu Dhabi on Nov. 02.
Sheikh Nahyan and King Gostaf exchanged views on the bilateral relations and ways of boosting them in the best interest of the two friendly people. King Gostaf hoped the visit would further strengthen friendship between the two countries.
The UAE minister hosted a banquet in honour of the king of Sweden. Present were Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan Al Nahyan and a number of Foreign Ministry officials and high ranking officials.
