|  | Khalifa meets SarkozyMay 27, 2009 - 11:54 - WAM Abu Dhabi, May 26th, 2009 (WAM)--President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, visited here today French President Nicolas Sarkozy at his residence at Emirates Palace in presence of HH General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
Sheikh Khalifa welcomed the French president, adding that the visit would open more joint cooperation opportunities and friendship for the two friendly peoples.
Also Present at the meeting were HH Sheikh Haza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser, HH Lt General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister, HH Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Affairs Minister, HH Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court and Chairman of the Higher Corporation for Specialised Economic Zones, HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, ministers and high ranking officials.
Sheikh Khalifa escorted the French president to Al Mushrif Palace, where he was accorded an official reception. He then greeted high ranking UAE officials, including HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, HH Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, representative of ruler in the Eastern Region, HH Sheikh Haza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser, HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister, HH Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Affairs Minister, HH Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court and Chairman of Higher Corporation for Specialised Economic Zones, other Sheikhs, ministers and senior officials.
