|  | Hamdan bin Rashid awarded by Hanover Medical CentreMay 13, 2009 - 07:39 - WAM Cairo, May 13, 2009 (WAM) -- Dubai Deputy Ruler and UAE Finance Minister, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, has been awarded by the Hanover Medical Centre of Northern Germany. UAE Ambassador in Cairo, Ahmed Ali Al-Mail Al-Za'abi, who is also the UAE's Permanent Ambassador at the Arab League, received the award on behalf of Sheikh Hamdan, in a special ceremony held here Tuesday night at the InterContinental Hotel.
Al-Za'abi, on behalf of Sheikh Hamdan, thanked the Hanover Medical Centre for the award and praised the special ties between the UAE and Germany.
He underscored the need for more fruitful cooperation between the medical institutions of Germany and their UAE counterparts.
