|  | Lubna Al Qasimi, Egyptian official discuss cooperationApr 7, 2009 - 02:28 - WAM Abu Dhabi, April 07th, 2009 (WAM)--UAE Foreign Trade Minister HE Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, discussed here today at her office with Dr Majid Osman, chairman of Information Centre and Decision Making Support at the Ministers Council in Egypt, joint cooperation and ways to boost it.
The Egyptian delegation briefed Sheikha Lubna about the experience of the centre.
Sheikha Lubna stressed that the UAE was keen to develop work mechanisms in the fields of statistics and information analysis, being the most important source that supports decision makers in bolstering national economy infrastructure and promotion of its different components.
On his part, the Egyptian official commended the modern statistics systems being followed in the UAE, highlighting the vital role of knowledge and information in supporting the decision making.
Both sides agreed to swap information and exchange visits to further boost cooperation between the UAE and Egypt in this respect.
