|  | Lubna Al Qasimi meets CSIS delegationMar 17, 2009 - 09:11 - WAM Abu Dhabi, Mar 17th, 2009 (WAM): Minister of Foreign Trade HE Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qasimi met here on Monday a delegation from the US based Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) currently visiting the country.
During the meeting they reviewed a number of economic and trade related topics concerning UAE and US as well as the international efforts for overcoming the repercussions of the global financial crisis.
The achievements of the women in UAE and their role in the process of development also featured the discussions.
During the meeting Sheikh Lubna hailed the bilateral relations and trade partnership between UAE and USA.
The two-way trade between UAE and US stood at worth USD 12.9bn in 2007.
