|  | Sharjah Ruler to offer rain prayer tomorrowDec 5, 2008 - 07:20 - WAM Sharjah, Dec. 23rd, 2007 (WAM) - In response to President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan's call, HH Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah has ordered offering a prayer for rain tomorrow in Sharjah at Al Badea Mussalah.
The prayer for rain, called Salatul-Istisqa, was traditionally offered by the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) during the times of drought.
Sharjah Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler HH Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, others Sheikhs and senior officials will also perform rain prayer.
