UAE recognises Kosovo

Abu Dhabi, 14th Oct, 2008 (WAM) - In accordance with its firm support for the principle of the legitimate right of peoples to self-determination, the United Arab Emirates has announced its recognition of the Kosovo Republic as an independent and sovereign state.

It wishes the Government and people of Kosovo prosperity and progress.
