Sheikh Mohammed made his remarks at the start of his Tunisia visit Monday's afternoon leading a high-profile delegation. Sheikh Mohammed expressed confidence that his "upcoming meeting with President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali will be fruitful and this is what the leaderships of the two countries are working to achieve through continuous consultations and exchange of views about social and economic development programmes." "We are looking towards wider avenues of economic, technological an tourism cooperation embodying the deep fraternal relations and the common history of our two countries and peoples and building new bridges between the East and West Arab countries." Sheikh Mohammed was received upon arrival his arrival at Tunis International Airport by Tunisian President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, Tunisian Prime Minister, Ministers, other top officials and military officers and heads of the diplomatic missions in Tunisia. The national anthems of UAE and Tunisia were played after which Sheikh Mohammed inspected the guard of honor accompanied by the Tunisian President. Sheikh Mohammed expressed gladness over visiting Tunisia which he described as a culturally rich country . "We consider Tunisia as our second home", he said. "My best greetings to President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali and the hospitable Tunisian people ." Sheikh Mohammed voiced his best wishes of more prosperity and progress for Tunisian people.
