|  | DPE, Al Hosn University sign cooperation agreementJun 28, 2007 - 05:07 - Abu Dhabi, Jun. 28, 2007 (WAM) -- The Abu Dhabi Department of Planning and Economy (DPE) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Al Hosn University to boost the joint educational, technical and training cooperation between them.
The move is part of is part of the efforts to further boost joint cooperation government institutions and institutions of higher learning in the country to serve the interest of the national economy.
DPE Under Secretary, Mohammed Omar Abdullah, signed the MoU for his outfit, while Al Hosn University's Deputy director, Dr. Hamdi Al Shebani, also signed for his side.
The agreement calls for regular sharing of information with the aim of joining efforts to ensure an effective participation of the private sector in educational, training and research activities. The two sides will also, according to the agreement, exchange regularly news bulletin, press materials related to laws, policies, programmes and plans.
