|  | Mohammed bin Rashid receives Seoul MayorJan 23, 2007 - 08:19 - Dubai, January 23rd, 2007 (WAM)- H.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, received here today Oh Se-hoon, Mayor of Seoul, and the accompanying delegation.
They reviewed the progress of bilateral relations between the UAE and Korea in general, and between Seoul and Dubai in particular. Sheikh Mohammed maintained that the volume of trade exchange and the strong bilateral ties provided strong foundation for closer cooperation for the mutual benefits of both countries.
Present at the meeting were Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Department of Civil Aviation and Chairman of Emirates Airline; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid, Chairman of Dubai Executive Council; Mohammed Abdullah Al Gargawi, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs; Dr. Hanif Hassan, Minister of Education; Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayyem, CEO of Dubai Ports and Customs Authority and Jebel Ali Free Zone; Dr. Omer Sulaiman, Governor of Dubai International Financial Centre; and Joon Jae Lee, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the UAE.
