|  | Mohammed bin Rashid receives Eid well-wishersDec 30, 2006 - 03:48 - Dubai, Dec. 30th, 2006 (WAM) - H.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai received here today at Za'abeel Palace Sheikhs, police, armed forces and civil defence officers, dignitaries, diplomats, citizens and residents who called to offer greetings on the blessed occasion of Eid Al Adha.
Well-wishers greeted Sheikh Mohammed and wished him good health and longevity. They also expressed their best wishes for the UAE and hoped the country will see further progress and prosperity under the wise leadership.
The reception was attended by Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Deputy Ruler and Minister of Finance and Industry, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Department of Civil Aviation, Chairman of Emirates Airline.
Separately today, Sheikh Mohammed also received, in the presence of Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid, the Shaikh and head of Bohra sect Dr Sheikh Burhan Al Deen, who called to offer Eid Al Adha greetings.
Sheikh Burhan Al Deen wished Sheikh Mohamemd and Sheikh Hamdan good health and longevity.
Also seperately today, Sheikh Mohammed received Prince Willem-Alexander Netherlands Crown Prince and Prince of Orange who also called to offer greetings on the occasion of Eid Al Adha. The meeting was attended by Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Deputy Ruler and Minister of Finance and Industry and Consul General of Netherlands Bart E.F.M Twaalfhoven.
