- WAM also provides video and photographic coverage, which is distributed to newspapers and TV stations.

- WAM covers the activities of official UAE delegations abroad.

- WAM has the facility to send pictures to subscribers locally and internationally.

- WAM offers its news and photographic services to all newspapers, to media departments, and to other government offices in the country and to UAE embassies around the world. The total number of recipientsof WAM services are 230.

How to subscribe to WAM News Services

The following services are available only to media organizations

Text and Photos :

FTP Service : (Text only) The subscriber should provide WAM with a server public IP address , username , password and folder name. Each story will be sent as a text file in real time.
E-mail Service : (Text and Photos) The subscriber should provide WAM with an E-mail address. Each story will be sent to the provided email address as a text file in real time.
Data Leased Line: (Arabic Text only) The subscriber should contact Emirates Telecommunications Corporation (www.etisalat.ae) to request for a Data leased line with the following specifications:
Data Leased line 300 baud , Code Page : Asmo 449 , Baud rate : 300 , Data Bits : 8 , Stop Bits : 1 , Parity : None , Handshaking : None

Web site http://www.wam.org.ae (Text and Photos) WAM publishes on its web site all its daily news and photos in both Arabic and English . The web site is updated regularly every hour.

TV Services (Video):

Satellite transmission: Service available to any subscriber in the world.
Fiber Optics: Service available only to subscribers within the UAE.
FTP: We can transmit selected video clips in mpg format files to any FTP server connected to internet.
